Ropa Tendida is a project started in 2018 during the first time I lived in Madrid. It was the first time I saw a repetition of a system in an urban space to hang clothes. People without people is a resource in photojournalism that focuses in showing how humans experience life through traces instead of direct, explicit subjects. Clothes can speak a lot about culture: behavior, age, taste, socio-economic level, values, beliefs, and more. Tender la ropa is as well a very prominent practice where I'm from, something I grew up with. I started this project in Madrid, and continued in my hometown, Cozumel.
